The Paranormal Doesn't Have to be Scary

It always boggles my mind when I see people freaking out when something moves on its own while ghost hunting. I mean, I get it: it attracts more viewers. But often, people really are genuinely terrified.
I'm guessing it's because they've been programmed to be that way through a lifetime of scary movies and cultural beliefs. So when something like a chair moves, a light comes on, or a door opens all on its own, people's minds grab hold of those beliefs and fill in the unknown with scary possibilities.
I call that kind of stuff "parlour tricks".
Things like that are meant to get your attention. Why? Well, there are various reasons. It depends on the entity or being running the show and what their intentions are.
Sometimes, it is just to scare you to make you go away.
Other times, the entity needs to get fed via your energy. (It's usually this)
And sometimes, it is to test you, to test your courage, your intuition, your discernment.
It's not usually something out to hurt you, or even kill you. But that can happen.
So although I say that the paranormal doesn't have to be scary, it can be dangerous.
Therefore, if you really want to mess around with the supernatural, (or if it's messing around with you!) you need to know your shi--, er stuff. And I mean really know it. Not the crap the mainstream tells you.
You need to know how it really works and what you're really dealing with. You need strong intuition and sharp discernment.
Why? Because anything with more awareness than you has more power than you, and that means it has more power over you.
So, ready to learn? Then stick around. There's lots more to come.
But first thing's first... Stop being so freaking scared of the paranormal!
You can't take your power back if you're afraid of every little thing and believe in nonsense.
